Bulldog was fined GH48,000 for comments disrespectful to the President.

Hanson, Lawrence Nana Asiamah, called Bulldog, now Bullgod, a regular pundit on United Television (UTV) Showbiz, was fined GH48,000 by an Accra Circuit Court. Bulldog, a graphic designer, stated that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will not complete his four-year term if he fails to compensate customers of Menzgold's alleged Ponzi scam. Bulldog, who is also an artists manager, would be imprisoned for 40 days if he did not comply. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of offensive conduct resulting in a breach of the peace, but was found guilty at the conclusion of the trial.

The court, presided over by Mrs. Evelyn Asamoah, ruled that the prosecution was successful in establishing its case during the trial. When Bulldog's attention was called to the statement's security ramifications, the court claims that he said he didn't mean any harm and that he was merely calling the President's attention (appealing to the President's conscience) to pay money owed to Menzgold clients. It was claimed that the President's life was in danger as a result of the convict's comment and that he was aware of the security implications of it. Before the Pundit was found guilty, Jerry Avernorgbo's substantive counsel, Mr. Lord Delvin Essandoh, pleaded with the court for a non-custodial punishment because Bulldog was a well-known and father of four children. Mr. Essandoh claimed that Bulldog also had a few medical issues. In addition, the attorney pointed out to the court that Bulldog was only charged with a "misdemeanor" and that he had expressed regret and learned from the experience during the trial. The police allegedly intercepted a video recording of a United Television (UTV) show on January 11, 2021, according to the prosecution, which is being headed by Chief Inspector Simon Apiosornu. According to the prosecution, Bulldog was heard declaring in the aforementioned video that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, the president of the Republic of Ghana, will not serve out his entire term. If he didn't pay the deposits made by Menzgold customers, he would flee. According to the report, on January 12, 2021, the National Intelligence Bureau turned over Bulldog to the Police for additional investigation. According to the prosecution, when the aforementioned video was put in front of Bulldog during questioning, he admitted to making those remarks in it. Bulldog was quoted as saying that he had no ulterior motives and had made the statement in jest as he and other guests were bickering on the show.
