Michael Ivan Kofi Nyagamagu, often known as Chief One, is a Volta Region native. Chief One is a hip-hop/hiplife performer, rapper, artiste manager, and a song writer from Ghana. He mostly composes music in his own native language, Ewe and sometimes uses Pidgin, such as du agbe, which means "enjoy life," turn by turn, mekamo (It doesn’t concern me), and woteleweoa, which means "can you do it?" In Togo, Ghana, and other nations, he is well-known. Chief has his own record label as well as a fan base known as Lawada Republiq.

Early Life
Chief One was born in the Volta Region on 19th of August. He is in his late twenties (20) and comes from Ziope in the Volta Region. Chief has a younger brother who attended school in the Volta Region.
Personal Life
He is not married and has no children. Chief One never talk about his relationship or girlfriend.
Music Journey
Chief One began recording music in the Volta Region many years ago, but he was merely making mix tapes with songs by some of Ghana's most famous musicians. He began his professional music career in 2016 and has since recorded songs that have become popular in the Volta Region. In 2017, he released a mixtape of Olamide's wo song, and as a result, many Ghanaians were aware of the existence of an artiste known as Chief One from the Volta Region, despite his popularity in Volta and Togo.
In November 2021, Chief made his Ghanaian music debut with the release of Novayi, a duet with Volta Region rapper DD Don. In the sample he made for it, Giovanni Caleb and other Ghanaian celebs acknowledged the song. He later released Mekamo, followed by the EP "Here I Come." The EP had six tracks, including Du agbe, Young Boy, 02 Arena, Mekamo, Nyemedzio, and Novayi. Despite the fact that Chief makes music in the Ewe and Pidgin languages, Ghanaians have received him warmly, and he is still dropping hits in the music industry.
